Citizens' Awards
Since 1976, the Foundation has honoured more than two hundred courageous and inspiring people. Some award winners risked their lives to
save strangers from certain death, while others endured years of intimidation to fight for the good of their community.
The Foundation is particularly keen to reward individuals whose moral as well as physical courage would otherwise go unnoticed.
